Terms of Service & Conditions of Sale
Commercial guidelines governing price quotations, raw material indexation, die manufacturing custody, and dimensional tolerances.
1. Quotations & Order Acceptance
All price quotations issued by Astham Industries Pvt. Ltd. are indexed to primary raw aluminium ingot benchmarks (LME/NALCO basic prices), fabrication conversion charges, and specified alloy/temper conditions. Formal purchase orders become legally binding only upon written confirmation by our commercial sales desk.
2. Dimensional Tolerances & Metallurgical Standards
Unless explicitly agreed in writing, all extruded profiles are manufactured to standard commercial tolerances in accordance with IS 733, IS 1285, ASTM B221, or EN 755-9. Special tight tolerances (precision ±0.10mm) must be explicitly recorded in drawing approval documentation before die manufacturing.
3. Custom Tooling & Die Development
Die development charges (DDC) cover design, engineering, CNC wire-EDM die cutting, trial extrusion, and sample submission. Die ownership, maintenance, and upkeep remain under Astham Industries Pvt. Ltd.' technical custody unless contractually agreed as dedicated proprietary tooling.
4. Packaging, Transit & Claims
Extrusions are packed using standard protective interleaf paper, shrink wrap, and HDPE strapping or wooden boxes as specified. Any claims regarding quantity discrepancies or transit damages must be logged within 7 business days of delivery accompanied by inspection photos and packing slips.
5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
All contracts, sales orders, and commercial disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
